Find out who are top of the pop songwriters, based on last week’s UK Singles Chart and Billboard Hot 100

With the release of Billboard’s chart delayed last week, we’re back on track with our weekly Songwriting Charts. A huge spike for Belcalis Almanzar, also known by her stage name Cardi B, lands her in the top position at No 1 for hit song Bodak Yellow (Money Moves). At No 14 on the Billboard Hot 100, the song is currently at its peak position showing huge gains in performance and streaming from last week. Nicki Minaj joins the chart after the debut of her song with Future, You Da Baddest. The song marked Minaj’s 80th Billboard Hot 100 chart entry, debuting at No 38.

Shane McAnally has returned to the chart after a collaboration on Thomas Rhett’s Unforgettable. A brand new release, the song is currently at No 68 and rising on the Billboard Hot 100. Ironically, it’s in competition with another song on our chart titled Unforgettable written by Mike WiLL Made-It, French Montana and Swae Lee. Their track is currently seated at No 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 after 17 weeks on the chart, with the trio sitting at No 18 on our chart.

A win for country artists this week comes not only from Rhett, but also from the Kenny Chesney song All The Pretty Girls. The hit skyrocketed writer Josh Osborne onto the US Songwriting Chart, landing him at the No 14 slot.

Two other newcomers wrap up the chart, Jacques Webster (aka Travis Scott) at No 17 and Shane Lindstrom (aka Murda Beats) at No 20. Both songwriters are benefiting from Butterfly Effect performed by Travis Scott.
