UK & US Songwriting Charts (14 – 29 April 2017)

Assisted by Royalty Exchange, we recognise the most successful songwriters behind the biggest hits on both sides of the Atlantic

Drake continues to dominate the US chart measuring the top songwriters behind the week’s biggest tracks on the Billboard Hot 100. Not only did he keep his No 1 position, but he’s involved in the charting of five additional songwriters who either collaborated with him directly or did so on other songs that feature him.

The result is not much movement in the US chart, other than the debut of US rapper “Russ” (Russ Vitale) at No 18. Interestingly, Ed Sheeran collaborator Benjamin Levin pulled away from the superstar, rising to No 8 (from Sheeran’s 17) thanks to additional credits on tracks from Halsey and Julia Michaels…
