Created by an Italian trio who moved to London over half a decade ago, this dusky electronica number captures a feeling of being lost in the city. As the sampled layers build there’s an overwhelming feeling of paranoia amongst the bright lights and big sounds. Danio’s clipped vocal delivery is the perfect vessel for this ode to the outsider. Country stars Danielle Bradbery and Parker McCollum become the latest in a long line of artists to deliver their own version of the movie A Star Is Born‘s most famous song, and deliver the best rendition. Their stunning harmonies keep the song’s original heartfelt vibe, while the rich vocal tone of Bradbery kicks it into high gear and makes it sound like a whole new track. This exciting artist is sharing his first new music since the release of his breakout Big Bang EP and it’s a bold offering that offers an insight into what Lawrence went through after he left his management team. Augmented by sounds from the Kentish countryside, this tale of changed locks, redecorated homes and the troubles associated with moving on is surprisingly powerful in its simplicity. DH

Eleni Drake
Hailing from Greece but very much a Londoner, this artist has lived in West London all her life and this is evident in her eclectic sound which takes influence from the likes of Nina Simone and Ella Fitzgerald. Her latest offering comes in the form of 4 which is a luscious soul driven track that shines a light on her gorgeous, soaring vocals. Thanks to its rich sonic style this is a song that has the potential to be huge. LK
