4-inch, 6-inch and 8-inch studio speaker systems get the iconic Les Paul treatment, in Cherry, Cherry Burst, and Tobacco Burst
ibson Brands continues to honour the legacy of Les Paul – the genius who pioneered the solid-body electric guitar, and multi-track recording – with its release of the new Les Paul Reference Monitors at this week’s Musikmesse. Combining iconic Les Paul styling, including flame maple tops, diamond-like carbon-coated titanium tweeters, non-woven carbon fiber woofers and custom-designed amplification, the Les Paul reference monitors are available in 4, 6 and 8-inch systems, and are available in Cherry, Cherry Burst, and Tobacco Burst finishes.
The Gibson Les Paul 4 Reference Monitor is a two-way, bi-amped, full-range reference speaker, employing a 4-inch non-woven carbon woofer and a 1-inch high-frequency titanium w/DLC coating tweeter, both powered by a custom amplifier. The Gibson Les Paul 6 Reference Monitor is a two-way, bi-amped, full-range reference speaker, which employs a 6-inch non-woven carbon woofer and a 1-inch high-frequency titanium w/DLC coating tweeter, which are also powered by a custom amplifier. The Les Paul 8 Reference Monitor is also a two-way, bi-amped, full-range reference speaker, with an 8-inch lightweight non-woven carbon woofer and a 1-inch high-frequency titanium w/DLC coating tweeter, powered by a custom amplifier.
