The Doppler Shift

On Thursday, London’s The Water Rats hosts another live show and artist session by the FAC, Success Express and Songwriting

hursday 2 April sees the second Featured Artists Coalition (FAC) Drop-In Session & Songwriting Magazine Showcase, in association with Success Express, take place at The Water Rats in London’s King Cross. The first session in January featured Radiohead’s Ed O’Brien, Marillion’s Mark Kelly and Jocelyn Brown who openly shared their wealth of experience and opinion on the rocky road to success in the music business, and the next event promises to be just as insightful.

The FAC provides artists with a collective voice, support in building your artist business and advice on your rights. It’s free to become a member and its hands-on directors – which includes Annie Lennox, Nick Mason, Sandie Shaw, Rumer and many more – are keen to know what it feels like to be an artist in today’s musical landscape, to help the FAC represent artists more effectively.

Doors open at 5:30pm with the Artist Drop-In starting at 6:15pm. This session is free to attend, but availability is limited to members and requires advance booking via: www.eventbrite.co.uk

The Live Showcase will follow, with doors opening at 8:00pm and the show starting at 8:30pm, and entry costs £6 in advance from www.wegottickets.com. Acts performing on this occasion include…
