UK fans of alt-rock quartet Wolf Alice can breathe a little easier, after the Mercury nominees extended their 2016 tour
With their debut album reaching No 2 on the UK Albums Chart and receiving a nomination for the 2015 Mercury Prize, it is little wonder that a Wolf Alice gig is a hot ticket right now. Thankfully for their UK fans the quartet’s 2016 tour has become a little easier to see, with the band adding another date at London’s O2 Forum.
The band head out on their UK tour next March, starting at Belfast’s Mandela Hall on 4 March and then playing another 13 dates across the UK and Ireland, before they finish with two performances at London’s O2 Forum.
On Friday 16 October 2015 the band were revealed to be one of the 12 artists in the running for this year’s Mercury Prize, for their debut album My Love Is Cool. Though competition will be fierce, as usual, we at Songwriting Magazine were hugely impressed by My Love Is Cool and have tipped it to come away with the gong.
