Our new Hot Hitmakers partnership with Royalty Exchange recognises the top songwriters behind the biggest hits on the Hot 100

With the help of online music royalties marketplace, Royalty Exchange, we introduce a new weekly Hot Hitmakers chart, which recognises the top songwriters behind the biggest hits in the US. The installment below covers the results of Tuesday’s Hot 100 from Billboard, which covers the week commencing 21 November 2016.

Perhaps the most interesting development is Taylor Swift making the chart on the backs of two songs she didn’t even perform. While her co-writing credit for This Is What You Came For by ex Calvin Harris is a holdover from the October chart, her contribution to Little Big Town’s Better Man earned her a spot to herself this week.

Other new entrants include James McCall and Jonathan Lewis for Juju On That Beat (TZ Anthem), Shayaa Joseph (otherwise known as 21 Savage), Leland Wayne, Adam Daniel and Irvin Mejia, and Xavier Dotson.

Enjoy…
