Gucci Mane Met Gala: a successful song for co-writers Kiari Cephus and Leland Wayne

The story of the week is the impact that two new songs can have on the songwriters behind them. The tracks charting this week are Gucci Mane’s Met Gala and Lil Yachty’s Peek A Boo. Both feature a host of credited songwriters who are also prolific in their contributions to other songs on the charts. As such, Kiari Cephus, Leland ‘MetroBoomin’ Wayne, and Quavious ‘Quavo’ Marshall all move up or held onto their ranks due to their involvement in each track.
