We list the week’s top songwriters behind the biggest hits on the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart

Lauren Duski, the runner-up for Season 12 of ‘The Voice’ by the closest voting margin in the show’s history, debuted her original song Deja Vu during the season finale. Duski’s hit landed her on Billboard’s Top 100 at No 43, above both Katy Perry and Camila Cabello, and on our ranking of the most successful songwriters of the week at No 8.

Meanwhile, former One Direction member Liam Payne’s solo-career took off with his single Strip That Down, which lists Quavious “Quavo” Marshall and Ed Sheeran as co-writers. Quavo now has co-writing credits with eight different artists currently charting this week, which makes him by far the most prolific songwriter on the chart today.
