James Bay has been confirmed for his first ever festival headline appearance

Brit Award winning songwriter James Bay is to be the headline act at a festival for the very first time

aving been named the Critics Choice at the 2015 Brit Awards, James Bay has secured further success by being confirmed for his first ever festival headline appearance. Bay will play the headline slot at this year’s Barn On The Farm, which is to be held in Gloucestershire. Featuring alongside Bay will be, Amber Run, Nothing But Thieves, and JP Cooper, with Rhodes and Jack Garratt to be Bay’s fellow headliners. Past performers at Barn On The Farm include Ed Sheeran, Ben Howard and Bastille.

When speaking of the event, Barn On The Farm’s organisers called it the ‘perfect setting’, saying “Set in the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside BOTF is the perfect setting for a weekend full of supreme performances from some of the most exciting up and coming artists.”

Bay was among a whole host of stars to walk home with an award after last week’s Brits, with Ed Sheeran, Paloma Faith, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift, Royal Blood, Foo Fighters, Paul Epworth, Mark Ronson, Bruno Mars, Pharell Williams and One Direction all recording a successful evening.
