CMA Awards 2015 nominations announced

This year’s CMA Awards ceremony is on 4 November

This year’s CMA (Country Music Association) Awards ceremony will take place on 4 November at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville

he nominees were announced today for this year’s CMA Awards, the most high-profile awards ceremony in the world of country music. Predictably, big names like Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert feature heavily – but there are also nominations for more up-and-coming artists including Maddie & Tae and Sam Hunt.

The CMA Awards have been given out annually every year since 1967, and broadcast live on US television every year since 1969. This year’s ceremony takes place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, the Awards’ home since 2006, and will be hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley – as they have been every year since 2008.
