Fans of the Scottish synth-pop trio will be pleased to discover that they will be performing in London & Glasgow
They released their much anticipated album Every Open Eye to rave reviews two months ago and UK based fans of Chvrches will be able to see them performing those songs live next year, after the Scottish trio confirmed their first performance dates of 2016.
Chvrches perform at London’s Royal Albert Hall on 31 March, before playing what will be the largest headline show of their career so far two days later at London Glasgow’s SSE Hydro on 2 April. Support for the trios Glasgow performance will come from The Twilight Sad, who Chvrches’ synth player Martin Doherty previously played with as one of their live members.
Earlier this month Chvrches frontwoman Lauren Mayberry said the group’s members will eventually embark on solo projects. Speaking to The Sunday Times, Mayberry said: “At this point, the band is the focus. But eventually, everyone will go and do their own things.”
Chvrches 2016 performances are:
Royal Albert Hall, London (31 March)
The SSE Hydro, Glasgow (2 April)
