Legendary US emo band will finally release their long-awaited second album, 17 years after their first album hit the shelves
They’re one of the most loved bands of the emo canon and feature two members of the genre’s family royalty in Mike and Nate Kinsella. Now American Football have announced they’ll be releasing their sophomore album this autumn, 17 years after their self-titled debut LP.
Featuring nine tracks, album number two is also self-titled and will be released on 21 October via Polyvinyl in the U.S. and Wichita in the UK and Europe. The album will feature I’ve Been So Lost For So Long, which the band have released as a teaser. You can hear the song below:
