FEVER BY JAWS OF BROOKLYN
Recorded in The Shoals region of Alabama at Sundrop Sound, Fever is the latest single from Seattle-based garage band Jaws Of Brooklyn. Lindsay Love’s charged vocal performance is the perfect vehicle to deliver this anthem of female expression.

OUR DECEMBER BY DRUG COUPLE
Sick to death of Christmas music? Never fear, Vermont’s Drug Couple are here to blast the tinsel from your tree with new single Our December. Blending fuzzy guitars with a memorable melody, fans of The Lemonheads will enjoy this one.

BLIND MISSILES BY LUKE SITAL-SINGH
If you’re searching for empathy in an increasingly polarized world, Luke Sital-Singh’s Blind Missiles will definitely strike a chord. The song’s sparseness may hint at isolation yet the tender delivery exudes hope (as does the amazing dog in the video).

NEON STARS BY WILD RIVERS
When you strip a song back to its bare essentials, it exposes its true substance (or lack thereof). In the case of Neon Stars by Wild Rivers, the unadorned nature of this folky ballad gives it an undeniable strength that’s both emotional and musical.

THE WEDDING SONG BY C DUNCAN
The layered voices sitting underneath the main vocal bring a delightfully choral feel to C Duncan’s The Wedding Song. As if that wasn’t enough, the string section adds an additional heavenly elevation to this most graceful of songs.

CHANGE MY MIND BY ANNA SHOEMAKER
With a bolder production than on earlier offerings, Change My Mind is the latest single to suggest that Anna Shoemaker has what it takes to make it all the way to the top. The illuminating lyrics and authentic delivery remain and are bolstered by a driving rhythm.

LAST STOP FOR TIRED REINDEER BY THE MINING CO.
Forget Ed and Elton, this Christmas was all about Last Stop For Tired Reindeer by The Mining Co. (AKA singer-songwriter Michael Gallagher). An instant fireside classic that feels like it’s existed for years, it’s a suitably respectful ode to those most reliable of ungulates.

YOU COULD BE BY ANZ
A bubbling hopscotch bassline, mercurial beat and coruscating synth all combine magically on You Could Be by Manchester-based producer Anz. The final piece of this ethereal dance puzzle comes in the shape of George Riley’s detached and cool vocals.
