EXCLUSIVE! ‘Golden’ by Tilia

Tilia is a superb folk songwriter

Tonight’s exclusive is from a superb songwriter from Switzerland, whose melodies will find favour among fans of folk and pop

Ahead of the release of her sophomore LP, Swiss songwriter Tilia brings us her new song Golden. Ripe with melody and aided by the production of Reto Peter (Green Day, Counting Crows), it’s crisp folk harmonies demonstrate why Tilia become a hit in her homeland and beyond.

Of tonight’s exclusive Tilia says: “Golden is about the perfect moment, which is something I think everybody chases in their life. When time and space doesn’t play a role, and life seems to take over of it’s own accord. It’s about adventurousness and deep confidence at the same time – when you can let yourself go and know life is going to catch you and take you to those places and experiences you’ve been looking for.”

She’s been likened KT Tunstall, Ed Sheeran, Jamie Lawson, Norah Jones and Passenger. We also think that fans of Gabrielle Aplin and James Bay will enjoy Golden. You can decide if you agree by listening below…
