Washburn Guitars unveils its Apprentice Series, consisting of two Grand Auditorium-style acoustic guitars with a Barcus-Berry LX4 pickup tuner system
Washburn Guitars announces their new Apprentice Series, consisting of the AG20CE and AG40CE Grand Auditorium style guitars. Both guitars feature a cutaway for upper fret access and a custom Barcus-Berry LX4 pickup system.
Washburn’s Apprentice AG20CE is a Grand Auditorium-style acoustic featuring a cutaway and a custom Barcus-Berry LX4 pickup tuner system. The model features spruce top and rosewood back and sides, a mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with offset dot inlays, and rosewood-capped headstock with chrome diecast tuners. The LX4 features a three-band EQ, plus presence control and a built-in tuner.
The AG40CE is also a Grand Auditorium acoustic guitar with a cutaway and custom Barcus-Berry LX4 pickup tuner system. The body consists of select spruce top and flame maple back and sides. The mahogany neck also features a rosewood fingerboard with offset dot inlays, but with flame maple-capped headstock with chrome diecast tuners. The same LX4 pickup includes a three-band EQ, presence and tuner.
