PRS Guitars’ CE24 Standard Satin

After almost 10 years out of PRS Guitars’ lineup, the CE24 Standard Satin continues to build on the bolt-on platform

January 2016 saw Paul Reed Smith Guitars bring back the CE 24 Bolt-On, after nearly a decade of being out of the lineup. Now, the new CE24 Standard Satin continues to build on that bolt-on platform with a thin satin finish – in Charcoal, McCarty Tobacco Sunburst or Vintage Cherry – to enhance the vintage vibe.

The guitar combines a mahogany body and bolt-on maple neck – all finished with a thin layer of satin nitro – built on a 25-inch scale, a pattern-thin maple neck with East Indian rosewood fingerboard and PRS bird inlays, and PRS-designed locking tuners and tremolo.

The CE 24 Standard Satin features PRS 85/15 pickups, with the electronics consisting of a volume and push/pull tone control with three-way toggle pickup selector switch, providing a total of six classic sounds.
