With UK distributor Sound Technology, Apogee reveals a studio quality 96kHz, 24-bit USB cardioid condenser microphone for Windows or Mac
Apogee Electronics and UK distributor Sound Technology have announced immediate availability of the new Apogee MiC 96k for Windows and Mac. Designed for voice and acoustic instrument recording and made in the USA, MiC 96k is a studio quality 96kHz, 24-bit USB cardioid condenser microphone for Windows or Mac computer. It is also compatible with iOS devices using a Lightning cable, which is sold separately.

MiC 96k features a wide dynamic range for capturing a range of singing styles. The mic contains an Apogee-engineered microphone preamp with up to 40dB of gain, surrounded by all-metal construction. A control knob allows input level adjustment and a multicolour LED displays status indication and input level monitoring. Out of the box, the mic comes with a USB cable, desktop stand and microphone stand adapter.
