The International Songwriting Competition is accepting submissions for 2016 with a discounted entry fee as part of a holiday promotion
Nashville-based International Songwriting Competition (ISC) has reopened its 2016 contest and will be accepting submissions until 2 January 2017 for its annual ‘Stocking Stuffer’ period, and the fee has been discounted to $25 per entry. Three Stocking Stuffer winners will be selected to win prizes that include cash and merchandise. Additionally, all entrants receive 100 free spins from Radio Airplay and are eligible to win the overall ISC prizes, including a grand prize valued at over $70,000.
This year’s ISC judges include recording artists: Chris Cornell, Lorde, Tom Waits, Ziggy Marley, American Authors, Donovan, Bastille, Joe Bonamassa, Keane, Hardwell, India Arie, Kaskade, Danilo Perez, Vijay Iyer, Sara Evans, Afro Celt Sound System, Rickie Lee Jones, John Mayall and Femi Kuti.
Categories include: Adult Album Alternative (AAA), Adult Contemporary (AC), Americana, Blues, Children’s Music, Comedy/Novelty, Country, EDM, Folk/Singer-Songwriter, Christian, Instrumental, Jazz, Latin Music, Lyrics Only, Music Video, Performance, Pop/Top 40, R&B/Hip-Hop, Rock, Teen, Unpublished, World Music and Unsigned Only.
Previous winners have included artists such as: Vance Joy, Skrizzly Adams, Gotye, Kimbra, Gin Wigmore, The Band Perry, Passenger, Bastille, Kasey Chambers, Gregory Porter and Lindsey Stirling.
