Veteran American indie-rockers Low are to release their 11th studio album this year and head out on a mammoth tour
his 11 September will see the highly prolific indie-rock trio Low release their eleventh studio album. Entitled Ones And Sixes and co-produced by the band and engineer BJ Burton, the record is the follow-up to 2013s The Invisible Way and will be released on the cult Sub Pop record label.
Speaking about the album, Low’s guitarist and vocalist Alan Sparhawk had this to say: “In our 20-plus years of writing songs, I’ve learned that no matter how escapist, divergent, or even transcendent the creative process feels, the result is more beholden to what is going on at the moment. It’s hard to admit that one is so influenced by what is in front of us. Doesn’t it come from something magical and far away? No, it comes from here. It comes from now. I’m not going to tell you what this record is about because I have too much respect for that moment when you come to know it for yourself.”
Low will also be heading out on a mammoth tour that will see them on the road from the end of June until the later part of November. You can see the full tour dates below:
