Jack White shows you how to drum, in a brand new tutorial released ahead of The Dead Weather’s latest album

ver wondered how to nail the drum parts to one of The Dead Weather’s songs? Well you need wonder no more, as band member Jack White teaches you the ropes in a brand new video.

In the video White explains that as the drummer: “I’m one doing the grunt work, the guy back here in the trenches, hitting the boom booms.” He then goes on to run through how to play the song Hang You From The Heavens, while discussing the composition and set-up of his drum kit. You’re then treated to a performance of the song by the band. You can see the video below:

The Dead Weather release their third studio album on 25 September 2015. Entitled Dodge And Burn, the record features 12 tracks and will be released through White’s Third Man Records label.
