Adele’s third album will be released this November

The release date for Adele’s long-awaited third album has been confirmed by XL Recordings, with the album due this November

he much anticipated third album of the noted singer-songwriter Adele will finally be released later this year, with XL Recordings confirming that the record will be out in November. Adele’s third album has yet to be given an official title but it’s rumoured that it will be entitled 25, which is the age Adele was when she started working on the record.

Adele has given her records age related titles previously, with her second album 21 being called so because it was the age of the singer-songwriter during its production. 21 went on to win the 2012 Grammy Award for Album Of The Year and the 2012 Brit Award for British Album Of The Year, while being shortlisted for the 2011 Mercury Prize.

Adele’s third album is rumoured to feature contributions from a number of high-profile producers, including Danger Mouse, Max Martin and Tobias Jesso Jr. Pharrell has said of his work with Adele: “I’ve seen [Adele] recently. She’s kinda like, ‘OK guys, I’m gonna open my diary for 20 minutes.’ So it’s like, OK, you have 20 minutes, or 32 minutes really.” Continuing: “Then she gives it to you, closes it up and disappears. And she’s off with her beautiful boy – and that’s what it’s all about. She is a masterful writer.”
