AIR Music Technology announces the arrival of two keyboard software composition suites: the DB-33 Tonewheel Organ and Mini Grand Piano
erman-engineered virtual instruments developer, AIR Music Technology has announced the release of two new keyboard software composition suites – Mini Grand piano and DB-33 Tonewheel Organ. Made available in VST/AU formats for Mac and PC, these new virtual instruments operate within almost any digital audio workstation, providing songwriters and computer-based musicians with authentic, genuine keyboard sounds.
The Mini Grand is a virtual piano instrument with seven selectable acoustic piano sounds, re-pedaling technology to create realistic string resonance behaviour, built-in room simulation, as well as equal and stretched tuning.
DB-33 is a AIR-proprietary virtual vintage organ instrument that recreates the sounds and controllability of classic tonewheel organs such as the Hammond B3, includes more than 120 presets, features tube overdrive emulation and a custom-designed, convolution rotary cabinet sound that can be used a stand-alone effect.
Both the DB-33 Tonewheel Organ and the Mini Grand Piano are available for Mac and PC download at a retail price of $79.99 (approx. £50) each from airmusictech.com and below you can listen to audio samples of each virtual instrument…
