The US guitar brand’s new line of steel-string acoustic and acoustic-electric instruments presents seven new models and two complete packs

California-based guitar manufacturer, Mitchell has introduced the new 120 Series of steel-string instruments, with seven models and two complete packs, including the D120 acoustic, D120SCE acoustic-electric, D120S12E 12-string, O120SVS auditorium, O120S, DJ120 mini-dreadnought and O120CESB stage guitar.

The workhorse of the new line, the D120 dreadnought acoustic guitar features a select spruce top with an ultra-light finish and scalloped bracing, multi-ply binding on the neck and body, a slim-profile neck, mahogany back and sides, and die-cast tuners. The Mitchell D120PK guitar pack adds a gig bag, shoulder strap, clip-on guitar tuner, instructional DVD, guitar picks, and extra strings.

The D120SCE dreadnought acoustic-electric guitar presents a new slim-profile neck, combined with a Venetian cutaway, a solid Engelmann spruce top, a light finish and scalloped bracing, plus a three-band EQ and built-in tuner, as well as an under-saddle piezo pickup.

Mitchell’s D120S12E dreadnought 12-string acoustic-electric guitar consists of a solid Engelmann spruce top with scalloped bracing, mahogany back and sides, abalone rosette and multi-ply binding accents highlight a Natural finish, an onboard preamp along with a built-in tuner.

For a smaller guitar, look no further than the O120SVS auditorium acoustic guitar, featuring a solid Engelmann spruce top, volume-enhancing mahogany back and sides, lighter gloss finish and scalloped bracing, while the bound body is topped with a Vintage Sunburst finish. You also can get the O120S in a traditional finish or as part of the complete O120SPK auditorium acoustic pack, which includes a gig bag, tuner, instructional DVD, shoulder strap, guitar picks and extra strings.

With its three-quarter scale size and thin-profile neck, the Mitchell DJ120 mini-dreadnought acoustic guitar boasts a genuine solid Engelmann Spruce top with carved mahogany back and mahogany sides, a real abalone rosette and body/neck binding, and comes with a gig-bag and shoulder strap. The O120CESB orchestra-sized stage guitar, rounds out the series with an ultra-light sunburst finish and versatile cutaway.
