25-, 49- and 61-key versions of the Code Series USB-powered controller keyboards become available, featuring velocity-sensitive pads and X/Y pad

nMusic brand, M-Audio announces that deliveries have begun of its Code Series USB controller keyboards. A family of three full-featured models – with 25, 49 or 61 keys – the Code keyboards combines a ‘smooth-feeling’ semi-weighted keybed and a feature set that includes 16 velocity-sensitive pads, an X/Y axis control touch pad and various assignable pitch/mod wheels, knobs, faders and buttons.

“The new Code Series keyboards offer a professional level of performance and keybed feel, combined with an unusually comprehensive set of features and included software,” said J.C. Sutherland, Product Manager for M-Audio. “All this adds up to one of our most eagerly-awaited new product introductions ever.”

The smooth-feel, semi-weighted keybed with aftertouch offers four assignable zones, the 16 velocity-sensitive pads provide LED feedback and the touch pad gives X/Y axis control. An array of assignable pitch mod wheels, knobs, faders, buttons (with macro ASCII support), and transport control with Mackie Control and HUI modes automatically map to popular DAW’s such as Cubase, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Apple GarageBand and Logic Pro X. In addition, software provided with the Code Series includes Ableton Live Lite, AIR Music Technology Loom and Hybrid 3.

M-Audio’s Code Series will be available at a retail price of £135/$299 for the 25-key, £175/$349 for 49-key and £199/$399 for the 61-key version. For more information, visit: m-audio.com/code
