Yamaha Music London will be opening its doors for a series of free skill-sharing sessions with workshops, demos and seminars
Yamaha Music London is inviting everyone with an interest in creating music to take part in the newly launched #YML Learning Labs and discover some of the tips and tricks used by leading musicians, professional producers and recording studios. The Learning Labs will be a series of free skill-sharing sessions that are set to take place in-store and feature musical instruments and equipment of all kinds made by Yamaha.
The sessions will include exclusive in-conversation and question-and-answer sessions with music industry experts and offer a chance to experiment and research music-making techniques and methods. The workshops, demos and seminars will give insight into how to maximise product performance by sharing guitar techniques, Line 6 demos, drum workshops, In The Mix, Synthfest and more.
The very first #YMLLearningLab will take place on Saturday 27 May at Yamaha’s UK store in Soho between 1:00pm–2.30pm and will feature Steinberg’s new notation tool Dorico. John Barron of Steinberg will be revealing the concept behind this new app and explaining why the developers believe it sets a new standard for music scoring.
The second #YMLLearningLab takes place on Saturday 3 June from 1:00pm-5:00pm, where Steinberg Product Specialist and Doctor Mix Producer, Dom Sigalas, will share how to get started recording and producing your own music.
