We round-up the last week in music, including news you might’ve missed, our #SongOfTheDay playlist and Classic Of The Week

Happy Easter to you, our dear readers. As you can imagine, we’ve spent the last week looking forward to spending a long weekend with our friends and family, but, most importantly, gorging ourselves on chocolate.

So, when you have a moment in between finishing your last and starting your next Easter egg, you’ll find our loving compiled week in review below. Enjoy.

Classic Of The Week

‘The Winner Takes It All’ by ABBA (1980)

The finest song by Sweden’s greatest contribution to music and, indeed, history itself. Taking a crumbling relationship (long taken to be that of band members Björn Ulvaeus and Agnetha Fältskog) as it’s topic, The Winner Takes It All mixes raw lyricism with gorgeous pop songwriting. If it’s not for you then, frankly, we question your sanity.
