The quartet have added an August gig at Newcastle’s Times Square to their trio of confirmed performances for this year
It’s been three years since London-born rock quartet The Libertines reformed. Fans have already been gifted with a new album – 2015s’ Anthems For Doomed Youth – along with a slew of live performances. Now the band has added another show to their upcoming UK gig list.
The band will play at Newcastle’s Times Square on 3 August, with the group making the announcement this morning (4 April) via their official Twitter account. The gig is added to The Libertines’ previously confirmed UK performances at Preston’s Birkenhead (20 May), Sheffield’s Tramlines Festival (21-22 July) and Cambridge’s Truck Festival (21-23 July).
