Last year Lady Gaga released her fifth studio album, Joanne. The record sold 170,000 copies and was streamed 26 million times in its first week. It peaked at No 1 in no less than six countries, including Japan, Brazil, and the US. Now Gaga has opened-up about the follow-up to Joanne.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, she said that she has already begun work on her sixth studio album, adding: “I have a lot of ideas and a lot of things I want to create, so you’ll see in a bit. I need some time to create.”
She explained there is a chance that fans will hear previews of the new songs she’s been working on during her current Joanne world tour, saying: “That’s not to say I won’t do songs here and there that I can call during the show.”
