The silver-voiced and Brit Award nominated songwriter John Grant sets-off on a tour of the UK and Ireland this November
If you’re of the view that John Grant is an artist whose performances simply cannot be missed, then keep reading. Because the Colorado songwriter has announced that he is set to embark upon a 13 date UK tour, starting this November and ending next February.
Kicking-off the tour on 9 November at Dublin’s Vicar Street, Grant plays a second show at Vicar Street on 10 November before crossing the Irish Sea and heading to London’s Eventim Apollo for a 12 November performance. Grant then takes rest-bite until 26 January 2016, when he takes to the stage at Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall. He follows that with performances in Belfast, Coventry, Cambridge, Southampton, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Gateshead before playing at Sheffield’s Octagon Centre on 11 February. If that wasn’t quite enough then you can also catch him on 15 June 2016, when he performs at London’s historic Royal Albert Hall.
John Grant releases his much-anticipated third solo album Grey Tickles, Black Pressure on 2 October. With its predecessor Pale Green Ghosts having been chosen as album of the year by Rough Trade, Grant’s fans will hope that Grey Tickles, Black Pressure can reach the lofty heights to which they’ve become accustomed.
