Welsh noise-pop sextet will take time out from writing their third album to play shows in Bristol, London and Brighton

They’ve been tipped as one of the UK’s most exciting bands following the release of their two superb albums Weird Sister and Peanut Butter and kinetic live shows, and now Joanna Gruesome will be back on the road again this March.

Beginning on 18 March at Bristol’s Exchange, the band then play at London’s DIY Space For London on 19 March, before finishing the mini-tour on 20 March with a performance at the Hope and Ruin in Brighton.

Speaking of the tour, songwriter Owen Williams says: “It will be a strictly hit orientated set. Astrological experts have informed us that Saturn will be transitioning into retrograde during that weekend, so it seemed like an obvious time to play a few shows in the south and south west.”

Joanna Gruesome are currently holed away writing their third album, the follow-up to last year’s Peanut Butter which featured among Songwriting Magazine’s Best Albums of 2015.

Joanna Gruesome play:

Exchange, Bristol (18 March)
DIY Space For London, London (19 March)
Hope and Ruin, Brighton (20 March)
