The mercurial songwriting talent releases his latest album this March and he will tour the UK in support of it

He’s received rave reviews for being “Saddleworth’s anti-Jake Bugg” and the youthful songwriter Kiran Leonard will head out on his biggest tour to date this spring, in support of his upcoming album Grapefruit.

Starting with a 24 March performance at Leeds’ Brudenell Social, Leonard will play a total of 14 shows in just 16 days, taking in venues across the UK including York, Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, London and Cambridge, before he finishes with a performance at Cardiff’s DimSŵn on 9 April.

Leonard releases his album Grapefruit on 25 March. Coming after he recently signed to the noted label Moshi Moshi, the album features eight tracks including the 16 minute epic Pink Fruit. You can listen to the excellent Pink Fruit below. Fans who pre-order Grapefruit through Moshi Moshi will also receive an instant MP3 download of Pink Fruit.
