Depeche Mode confirm new album and world tour for 2016

Synth-pop legends announce they’ll release their first album since 2013s’ ‘Delta Machine’ and head out on a huge global tour

Depeche Mode fans sit down (you’ll need to) because your excitement levels are going to head into faint level. Next year the synth-pop gods will not only be releasing a brand new album, they’ll also be heading out on tour across the globe.

Entitled Spirit, the band’s 14th studio album is their first since 2013s’ Delta Machine. Speaking of the record, frontman Dave Gahan said: “We’re exceptionally proud of Spirit’s sound and energy, and we’re excited to get back on tour to share it with our fans around the world.”

The group will also head out on a 31 date tour in support of Spirit next year. You can see the full dates of Depeche Mode’s 2017 tour below:
