London electro infused indie-rockers will head out on a ten date arena tour in support of their upcoming second album

They’ve just had a triumphant performance at Glastonbury 2016 and now, riding on the wave of that success, London quintet Bastille have revealed that they will head out on a ten date autumn UK tour in support of their upcoming second album.

Starting at Bournemouth’s BIC on 28 October, the band will then play in Plymouth, Cardiff, London, Leeds, Nottingham, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow, before finishing the tour with a performance at Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena on 13 November.

Bastille’s second album Wild World will be released later this year and when asked about the record singer Dan Smith said: “If our first album was about growing up and the anxieties surrounding it, our second is about trying to make sense of the world around you, both as you see it and as it’s presented to you through the media. It’s also about asking questions of the world and of the people in it. We wanted the album to be a bit disorientating – at times extroverted and introverted, light and dark.”
