Superstar R&B and hip-hop songwriter will release the follow-up to his critically acclaimed debut album ‘channel ORANGE’ during this July

Four years ago former Odd Future member Frank Ocean exploded with the arrival of his much loved debut album channel ORANGE. Now Ocean has confirmed that the hugely anticipated follow-up to his debut LP will be out this month.

Ocean re-published a post from last July on his website which included the caption: “‘I got two versions. I got twoooo versions.’ #ISSUE1 #ALBUM3 #JULY2015 #BOYSDON’TCRY”. Ocean’s new album is set to be entitled Boys Don’t Cry.

It has been claimed that the release date of Boys Don’t Cry has been pushed back more than 15 times since last July, so fans will hope that the same fate does not befall Ocean for a 16th time.

channel ORANGE was released on 10 July 2012 and made it to No 2 on both the UK and US album charts. It has gone on to sell over 600,000 copies since it was released.
