Stand Up To Cancer at Union Chapel, London

Kodaline, James Morrison, Seafret, Dagny, and Daniel James are to perform at London’s Union Chapel for the charity fundraising campaign

London’s Union Chapel is to host a night of live performances on 1 February to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer, the joint national fundraising campaign from Cancer Research UK and Channel 4. Kodaline will take the headline slot on the evening, which will see exclusive stripped-back performances from the Dublin band alongside singer-songwriter James Morrison, Bridlington duo Seafret, Norwegian songbird Dagny, and Northern Ireland’s Daniel James. The compere for the evening will be TV and radio presenter Edith Bowman.

“We’re really excited about this event and thrilled to have the support of so many wonderful musicians, it’s set to be a great night of entertainment,” said Claire Rowney, Director of Stand Up To Cancer. “All the money raised on the night will go directly to Stand Up To Cancer’s work to accelerate new cancer treatments and tests and ultimately it’ll help save more lives.”

Stand Up To Cancer at Union Chapel will open at 6:30pm on 1 February 2016 with the performances running from 7:00-10:30pm. Tickets are on sale now at a cost of £22.50 subject to booking fee from myticket.co.uk with all profits raised from the event going to Stand Up To Cancer. Here’s more about what they do…
