Calling all music professionals: NAMM announces Music Industry Day on 25 June in Nashville

Songwriters, musicians and recording professionals are invited to experience the Summer NAMM trade show in Nashville on Saturday 25 June

America’s National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) is inviting songwriters, musicians and recording professionals to Music Industry Day on Saturday 25 June at Nashville’s Music City Center. As part of Summer NAMM, Music Industry Day will open the doors to the members-only trade show to learn and connect at professional workshops, see the latest products from musical instrument manufacturers, and to enjoy various artist performances and events.

Music Industry Day will see industry experts, thought leaders and Nashville names present a range of educational sessions, including: ‘Social Media Strategies For Your Music Career’, ‘DIY Marketing For Musicians’, ‘The Targeted Hit Songwriter: Increasing Your Odds Of Getting Cuts’ and ‘Songwriting Tips From Nashville Pros’. Plus, nearly 500 musical instrument, accessory and pro audio brands – including Fender, Gibson, Martin, Pearl, Roland, Taylor, Yamaha, Alesis, Casio, Presonus and Tascam – will showcase their new products and offer the opportunity to pick up and play the latest gear.

Along with new products and sessions, Music Industry Day will also welcome the American Eagle Awards and its honourees; Emmylou Harris, Vince Gill, and the Grand Ole Opry. Produced by the National Music Council, the 33rd Annual American Eagle Awards recognise individuals that have made significant contributions to American music.

Summer NAMM Music Industry Day badges will be available to purchase for $20 at the door, or $10 if purchased online in advance at namm.org/musicindustryday
