The xx, A Tribe Called Quest and Pet Shop Boys will top the bill at the 2017 festival’s new home

Four-day boutique music event, Bestival has announced its four headline acts and full line-up for the 2017 festival taking place on 7-10 September. It has also been confirmed that the gathering has moved from the Isle Of Wight to the English mainland at Lulworth Estate in Dorset – the same place its sister event Camp Bestival is held.

Indie electronic outfit The xx will be the first headliners on the main Castle Stage, hip-hop heroes A Tribe Called Quest will top the bill on Saturday and synth-pop legends Pet Shop Boys will close the festival on the Sunday night. Completing 2017 foursome of first-time headliners, Wimbledon’s Jamie T will be kicking it all off with an exclusive performance topping the Thursday night bill on the second stage called The Box.

Commenting on their headline performance, The xx said: “Bestival was one of the first festivals we played, back in 2010, and it had always been a dream for us…we even begged to play the previous year. In 2012 we returned to play the main stage and we’re so happy to say we’ll be headlining this year, at the new site in Dorset.”

Other live music acts on the line-up include Justice, Dizzee Rascal, Little Dragon, Rag’n’Bone Man, Laura Mvula, Soul II Soul, MNEK, Circa Waves, Ray BLK, Lucy Rose, and Charlotte Church’s Late Night Pop Dungeon.

Currently a Bestival weekend ticket costs £150 (plus booking fee), or £190 (plus booking fee) to include coach travel from select destinations. Check out the full line-up and further details at bestival.net
