Our Hot Hitmakers partnership with Royalty Exchange recognises the top songwriters behind the biggest hits on last week’s Hot 100
There wasn’t an awful lot of movement on the chart this week, with only three debuts and a lot of rank reshuffling. But what stood out was that two of the three newcomers are for classic holiday songs: Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree by Johnny Marks, and All I Want For Christmas Is You by Walter Afanasieff and Mariah Carey. As the festive season continues and Christmas grows ever closer, we expect additional holiday classics to edge into the chart next week.
