The indie rock three-piece The Cribs have been announced as the headline act for this year’s Live At Leeds festival
akefield indie-rock trio The Cribs have been confirmed as the headline act for this year’s Live At Leeds festival. Taking place from Friday 1 May until Monday 4 May, the festival features over 200 bands and sees performances on 20 stages. Among the artists to feature alongside The Cribs are Eagulls, Dutch Uncles, Swim Deep, Thurston Moore, Dry The River, Lucy Rose and the Songwriting-tipped George The Poet.
Speaking of the confirmation as the festival headliners, The Cribs’ frontman Gary Jarmin said Leeds has always ‘embraced’ the band, adding, “We are really looking forward to headlining Live At Leeds. It’s cool because Leeds has always embraced us, and so to be asked to play our ‘comeback’ show headlining the festival is something that we are really looking forward to.”
The Cribs’ performance at Live At Leeds will give their fans the chance to catch songs the band’s upcoming sixth album For All My Sisters, which is released on March 23. You can see the video for the album’s lead single Burning For No One below, which we thought was a fine teaser for the new LP.
