The legendary synth-pop songwriter will play hits from three of his most beloved albums on a ten date UK tour
He’s one of the most revered songwriters of his genre and generation. Now the much-loved synth-pop songwriter Gary Numan has scored further brownie points with his fans, after he confirmed that he’ll head out on a ‘Classic Albums’ tour in the UK this September.
Numan will be playing songs from his albums Replicas, The Pleasure Principle, Telekon and Tubeway Army and begins the ten date tour with a performance at Sheffield’s Foundry on 15 September. He then plays at Liverpool, Coventry, Newcastle, Glasgow, Nottingham, Oxford, Norwich and Portsmouth before finishing with a show at Motion in Bristol on 25 September.
Speaking of the tour, Numan said: “Very happy to say the Classic Album shows are coming back to the UK in September. These shows will be the composite set of these three albums along the lines of the shows we played in Manchester and Cork last October. Songs from Replicas, The Pleasure Principle and Telekon, and a few from Tubeway Army.”
