The strongly tipped Norwegian songwriter has revealed that she will be embarking on a huge UK tour this coming October
She’s just played an extremely well received gig at London’s Union Chapel and is one of the artists tipped to make the step-up to stardom this year. Now Norwegian songwriter AURORA has announced she’ll be heading out on a huge UK tour this autumn.
Starting off with a performance at Glasgow’s Art School on 3 October, AURORA plays ten shows in just thirteen days. After Glasgow she then takes in performances in Manchester and then Newcastle, before journeying to the south and middle of the UK. Here she plays shows in Birmingham, Bristol, Brighton, Oxford, London and Cambridge before heading back up north to finish her tour with a show at Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club on 16 October.
AURORA makes the announcement off the back of a hugely successful 2015, in which she recorded a cover of Oasis’ Half The World Away for the John Lewis Christmas advert, which made it to No 11 on the UK Singles Chart, and saw her song Conqueror included on the FIFA 16 soundtrack. Conqueror is released as a single later this year and features on AURORA’s debut album All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend.
