Assisted by Royalty Exchange, we recognise the most successful songwriters behind the biggest hits on both sides of the Atlantic
Drake’s More Life set a record for the most on-demand streams last week, with some 20 singles on the Billboard Hot 100. That, vaulted him to the top of our chart measuring the songwriters behind the week’s biggest hits. While Ed Sheeran retains the top single on the Billboard charts, his number of overall tracks on the Hot 100 fell, which had the effect of pushing him down to 14 our songwriter chart.
Also worth noting are several newcomers this week: Drake collaborators Nana Rogues and Noah 40 Shebib join German production duo Cubeatz [Tim and Kevin Gomringer] in debuting on this week’s chart.
