UK rockers announce they’ll embark on their first acoustic tour this November, with a supporting album to be released too

After over a decade being known for their dance inflected indie-rock sound, Sheffield rock quintet Reverend And The Makers have announced that they’ll be doing this a little differently this autumn, as they release an acoustic album and embark on an acoustic tour too.

The album is entitled Berlin Sessions and was during Reverend And The Makers’ February tour in support of The Libertines. The band will also be embarking on an eight date tour in support of the album, during which they will be completely playing acoustic. Berlin Sessions will only be available to buy at the gigs Reverend And The Makers play during their tour.

Frontman Jon McClure said of the album and tour: “We’ve been asked for years to do something like this, so we thought we’d give it a go. It’ll make a change to see the whites of people’s eyes, and to play some songs that don’t require people to jump around like mad.”
