Indie-rock quintet Foals have announced that they will embark on a UK tour this autumn to support their fourth album
eted Oxford indie-rock outfit Foals have revealed that they will hit the road this November, embarking on ten date UK tour in support of their upcoming fourth album.
Starting off with a performance at Nottingham’s Rock City on 5 November, the band then play Liverpool, Norwich, Cardiff, Aberdeen, Newcastle, Southampton, Margate and Bristol, before finishing the tour at Cambridge’s Corn Exchange on 16 November.
Foals release their fourth album later this month, coming nearly three years after the Mercury Prize nominated Holy Fire. Entitled What Went Down, the record features ten tracks and is released on 28 August. The band’s frontman Yannis Philippakis told the BBC that on What Went Down “A lot of the songs are more vocally lead than they have been before.”
Foals released the title track and first single from the album on 16 June and you can catch the video for What Went Down below, as well as the full list of their November tour dates.
