Coming to NBC on 16 August, ‘Ed Sheeran: Live At Wembley Stadium’ was recorded during his sold-out shows earlier this month

ans of Ed Sheeran in the US are in for a treat on 16 August, as NBC will be broadcasting an hour-long special entitled Ed Sheeran: Live At Wembley Stadium. The film was recorded during Ed’s sold-out shows at the legenday stadium earlier in June, and includes a duet with Elton John on Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.

“I can’t say that performing at Wembley Stadium was a dream come true,” reads a statement from Sheeran, “because I honestly thought it was out of reach and didn’t think it was possible. It really doesn’t get any bigger than Wembley in my mind, and it was an honour to join the select few that have headlined there. It’s definitely a personal milestone, and I’m so glad to share this special moment with all of my fans.”

Back here in the UK, meanwhile, Sheeran is currently sitting at No 17 on the singles chart with Photograph, which you can watch the video for below, while X and + sit at No 2 and No 11 on the albums chart, respectively.
