Ed Sheeran continues to exceed expectations across our lists, as ‘Shape Of You’ and ‘Perfect’ remain on the singles charts
After a brief respite, Ed Sheeran has returned, prompted by the resurgence of his songs Shape Of You and Perfect. Now celebrating 38 consecutive weeks in the Billboard Hot 100, Shape Of You surpassed The Chainsmokers’ Closer in August for most time spent in the Top 10 (33 weeks!). Many a Sheeran fan must be “barefoot on the grass listening to [their] favourite song.”
New this week is Lil Pump with Gucci Gang. A rapper from Miami, he is set to release his debut album this Friday. With streaming creating the perfect environment for hip-hop songwriters to make a name for themselves, Lil Pump is one to watch!
