Hello, dear readers, it’s your friendly neighbourhood Songwriting. Though it seems to have flown by(certainly for us) we’re back to bring you this Sunday’s edition of our round-up. So, without further ado, here’s the latest Week In Review.

Classic Of The Week

‘Sour Times’ by Portishead (1994)

Truly one of the saddest tracks to have been composed in the last three decades. Taken from their debut album, Dummy, Sour Times is true to its name and demonstrates why Portishead are such a pioneering force in the trip hop field.
