Our latest classic of the week is a song that will resonate with fans of the truly sublime, ‘Stranger Things’

If you’re partial to new wave then this will be a track you’ll be well aware of.

Released in 1983, Every Breath You Take was a No 1 hit on both sides of the Atlantic for English trio The Police. It’s crisp, smooth, and outrageously catchy. All of which makes it a timeless classic.

That, though, is not why now is its time to feature as our Classic Of The Week. We won’t spoil anything by revealing any plot details for the magnificent second series of Stranger Things. However, if you have seen it then you’ll already know the relevance of Every Breath You Take.

And if you’re yet to watch Stranger Things 2, make it your next binge feast and you’ll understand why we’ve had a pang of nostalgia for Sting, Stewart Copeland, and Andy Summers.
