Sinderins: meet them at the crossroads

Our second exclusive of the week is an exclusive first listen to the new single by Dundee folk-rock outfit Sinderins

This week’s second exclusive track comes from Sinderins, a five-piece band hailing from Dundee in Scotland. Under the tutelage of producer Matt Lawrence, they’ve crafted the distinctly Jethro Tull-ish Fayre, which will be their next single (out on 13 May) and the first taken from their forthcoming self-titled album (out in June).

Sinderins consist of singer Dave Webster, plus Stevie Anderson, Gavin McGinty, Tom Barbour and Billy Fisher. They changed their name last year from the rather more unwieldy moniker of Anderson, McGinty, Webster, Ward and Fisher (or AMWWF for short), with ‘Sinderins’ being the name of a five-way junction in Dundee.

They say of the song: “Fayre is essentially a love song, wrapped up in an ethereal folk disguise. Everyone gets to do their own thing entirely on this track – and it all comes together in a sort of worldly vibe with Dave’s vocal leading the way.”

See what you think…
